2. Cookies
Hogia's websites use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the device you use to visit a website. A cookie can either be a session cookie or a persistent cookie, which remains on your computer for a longer period of time. A session cookie is erased when you close the browser, while a persistent cookie is stored on your device. Cookies are used to give website users the best possible experience on our website. For instance, preferences such as language settings can be saved to make navigation easier the next time the user visits the website. We use cookies to make our website easier to use, and to customize the user's experience on the website. The information collected by cookies is name, e-mail, phone number and IP address. The collected information is used to track the user's browsing behavior. We determine usage patterns to improve our search and filter functionality, to develop the user experience, and to make sales and advertising more relevant. Neither are users' IP addresses stored in our databases as a result of visiting our website. This means that the information collected can never be linked to an individual website user's identity. Hogia's websites also use cookies to track and report on website traffic and number of visitors. We also use third party cookies from other companies for carrying out market studies and traffic reports. You can use your browser settings to delete cookies and disable the storage of cookies on your computer. However, doing this may prevent many functions on Hogia's websites from working correctly. For more information about cookies, visit www.pts.se.
